Bands who want to play at Musica, please read the following:

• Include your bands name, a phone number AND a direct email address where our booking person can contact you, along with a link
  to your myspace page.
• Give us an idea of what you can draw . The venue holds 350 but if you are a decent band that can draw 20-50 people, we can work with you. Be honest (being professional and nice helps). We sometimes try to avoid bands that play in Akron/Canton/Kent too often. If you already have a show at Annabelle’s or Kent Stage, then please promote the crap out of that show and play here next time.
• We try to make these shows aesthetically consistent, so it is important that potential openers fit stylistically with the show that you’re trying to get on. Check out what’s coming here! and if you only draw 20-30 people see what shows that you might be able to jump on, otherwise it will be hard for you to headline without renting the room.
• The best way to get a show here is to hang out here.
• We will be expecting you to promote your show at Musica with flyering, Facebook, MySpace posts, a message to your email list and whatever other methods you use to get the word out. Please only promote one local show at a time.

• If you’ve never played here before please don’t waste our time with outlandish requests. The best way to convince us you will bring a huge crowd is by actually bringing a huge crowd.
